Meet the Pharmacist
Mark R. Lawson, Pharm.D., MBA
Mark has been involved in the pharmacy profession for over 15 years. He has worked in retail pharmacy, research, managed care, and hospital pharmacy. He completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D.) from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science (www.usp.edu). Mark also completed his Masters in Business Administration with a certificate in Health Care Management (MBA-HCM) from Widener University (www.widener.edu). He recently completed a certification program and licensing to begin giving vaccinations to adults 18 years of age and older. Also, he is certified as a Diabetic shoe fitter and offers these services by appointment or walk-in basis.
Mark’s clinical areas of interest include Asthma, Diabetes, HIV, and Immunology. He has worked in Managed Care and understands how the cost of healthcare is balanced by clinical practice. This is what drove Mark back into clinical practice with the goal to empower patients’ to take control of their health.
